Arkansas Game & Fish Commission wants us to repeat our performance of last year's Teacher Education Day, but this time near Fort Smith at the Janet Huckabee River Valley Nature Center. Website is: http://www.rivervalleynaturecenter.com/ The workshops will assist teachers in integrating EARA's education programs with the school's curriculum. By using the program subjects we discussed, history teachers can have access to approved curriculum that has been aligned to standards, and also funding resources. EARA has been asked to provide instruction to teachers, plus instructional ideas for teachers to use in their classrooms. We will camp at the Nature Center, with water, firewood, toilets available. If you want to help out call Ed Williams, 501-666-4304 or e-mail Ed at ed_laurine@juno.com.
